Field Operations Specialist & Content Creator 

Are you looking for a summer part-time job in Seattle and prefer working outside when the sun is shining? Then join RUSH Sports LLC to help with its grass volleyball leagues and tournaments. We coordinate some of the largest grass volleyball tournaments and leagues in Seattle with a focus on the LGBTQ+ community. 

We are looking for someone that can help with league and tournament operations. No prior volleyball experience required but desired. We can teach you how to set up the volleyball nets and the rules of the game. Are you experienced producing reels, Tik Toks, or videos? While not required, we will prioritize applicants who can help with media creation. Help us capture the unique moments and energy produced during our volleyball events. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Operations

  • Equipment Setup: Lead the assembly of grass volleyball net systems

  • Safety Checks: Monitor field conditions to ensure a safe playing environment.

  • Tear Down: Efficiently pack and organize gear post-event to maintain equipment longevity.

  • Monitor: Ensure players are entering their scores on the Volleyballlife website after their games

2. Content Creation & Strategy

  • Shoot & Edit: Produce high-quality, engaging vertical video (Reels/TikToks) and/or long-form YouTube content.

  • Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of social media trends and challenges to keep our brand relevant.

  • Storytelling: Capture the "vibe" of the tournament—from epic spikes and diving saves to the behind-the-scenes culture.

  • Management: Handle basic posting schedules and engage with our community in the comments.

Qualifications

  • The Muscle: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • The Knowledge: Previous experience playing or working in volleyball is a massive plus. 

  • The Eye: Previous experience doing video work (TikTok, Reels, or YouTube) and having an understanding of trends, pacing, transitions is a massive plus. 

  • The Vibe: You are social and know how to best interact with the LGBTQ+ and other communities. You bring a positive attitude and know you can help grow our brand and social media presence.

Pay and Benefits

  • $25 per hour

  • Free registration at one of RUSH’s Volleyball Tournaments

  • Opportunity to grow with the company 

Hours and Location

  • Start date of June 2, 2026, or earlier

  • Expect to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays evenings and six or more Saturdays or Sundays between June-August

  • Leagues are at Jimi Hendrix Park in Seattle and tournament locations vary (e.g. Greenlake and Judkins Park)
